Bought 3 for gifts was very pleased with them, the names were done well and the knifes "which are the most important thing" are very well made .I purchased this for my son. We loved the ability to customize it. The engraving was nice and clean. The blade was sharp and balanced. The only downside we had with the knife was it appeared to not have a coating on the wood. The wood looked rough and worn?? Moldy?? Whiteish colored in small places (not enough for us to care too bad since it is his first knife and it was intended for survival usage) it went away once we sanded it a bit and sealed it. But as he shown it off it was little distracting. Overall good knife and would definitely recommend to others for usage. Another “upgrade” we did to ours was line the precut letters with black paint to make it stand out from normal wood color by hand painting it.PerfectGreat value. I purchased the sharpening stone separately, it even came with a clear bag and some tissue paper. I just wish it would come with a clip, it will make it easier to carry it.The safety lock on this knife requires the user to place a finger into the blade bed while collapsing the knife. It is a vicious knife wound and lawsuit waiting to happen!Buy a different knife that’s designed with more common sense.Second time buying this product love it ...makes a nice gift
